The 2009 Knox County Schools Transfer Period will be February 16 - 27, 2009.
Enrollment into Vine Middle School is interest-driven. As a School of Choice, students interested in attending Vine Middle School will need to complete a Schools of Choice application and a School Transfer Request form. These forms may be picked up at any Knox County School or at the Office of Educational Choice (5th Floor, Andrew Johnson Bldg) or the Knox County Transfer Office (1st floor, Andrew Johnson Bldg).
Once completed, these forms must be received by the Schools of Choice Office and the Knox County Schools Transfer Office by the end of the transfer period (or postmarked by 4:00 p.m. on February 27, 2009) for the applicant to be elligible for transfer. Only the applications received by the deadline will be considered elligible for transfer.
If there are more applicants that vacancies, a lottery will be held to determine enrollment. For more information, please visit the Schools of Choice website at the link below.
On Monday, February 23, 2009, Vine Middle School will have an Open House from 10:00 - 12:00. Everyone is invited to attend.
